Gretel and the Dark

Gretel and the Dark was produced to support the launch of a new book by Eliza Granville. I had very little to work with as much was still under wraps and the book jacket was still in the final stages of sign off. Needless to say it looked like a fun project and one I was pleased to be able to offer my skills and assistance towards. FOR FREE. Sometimes the most enjoyable projects are the ones you don't get paid for... and that's fine.
Other creative talents were also coming together namely that of David Horsburgh who created a short animation which provides a momentary insight to the darker sides of the book.
The project's opening credits were wide and all encompasing but as time moved forward we had to scale back our expectations, excitment and enthusiasm.
